Unforgettable Impressions from the Loire:

1. The Hotel Diderot where we all stayed is really special, like a fairy-tale cottage in one of the Loire Valley's most beautiful towns - Chinon. Sigh...

2. That you can *STAY* in the Abbaye de Fontevraud. Yes, they have ROOMS. I'd actually put that first on my list. The Abbaye de Fontevraud was my favorite place on the whole shoot, it's really remarkable.

3. Every year the town of Brissac has a flower festival that the Marquis sponsors. If you'd like to catch a glimpse of the Marquis himself, visit Brissac for their annual festival of flowers, at the beginning of April. Check my Picks!

4. The miles and miles of walking trails that wind through the forests of Chenonceau...Who knows, you might run into a Knight in Shining armour!
